HI CHOIR.

I JUST REALIZED THAT IT HAS BEEN SO LONG SINCE I LAST POSTED HERE. ):

so, how has everything been going? are you guys listening to your seniors and conductors?? :D

heh. so anyways, its 4 years ever since i joined PLOV. its been a fun, fulfilling, interesting and an absolutely amazing journey. you guys and the seniors taught me a lot of things, and im very grateful for that. although some of us only spent months together, or some years together, something we all know, people do change, but memories dont. no matter what would be coming in our way in the future, i'll remember the times i had with everyone of you, be it good or bad. i am really thankful for being able to be your vice president for the past year, leading you guys to where you are and handing the baton to your fellow sec3s now. through my journey, i learnt many things, tolerance, commitment, patience and most importantly, LOVE.

i never expected myself to be able to love so many people at a time, not even mentioning myself being "loved" by you guys. i never did know how to appreciate each and every one of your special personalities, but i managed to do so. i managed to love you guys for who you are and what you are, i also learned to love all the little bits of the choir, causing me to love you guys so much now.

choir always felt like my second home, whenever i go there when im sad, you all would never fail to cheer me up with anything you guys do. anyways, i wanna let you guys know smth, you know the other day,(in the midst of Os,) i felt so unmotivated to study, so i took out the letters and gifts i got from you guys during farewell and i felt so touched by what you guys said. you guys wrote in your letters whatever that was from your hearts.it felt very very sincere, and i've never felt likethat before. maybe you think im just making it up to make you all happy, but no, its true. i could feel the sense of family and something telling me to press on as the whole choir was behind me. :')

i never regretted choosing choir as my CCA. because only through this cca, i felt a sense of warmth and this particular sense of home.

to my fellow sec 4s, well done! you conquered the Os. but this means something too, it means tht we are going to part. i cant bear some of you, but then again, its life. lifes likethat! heh. thanks for all the things that we've gone through. (i think we kinda did go through 4 years of thick and thin together right?) hahha. so anyways, thanks to everyone that have been in my secondary school life, and especially the choir, thank you. i love you and i'll always do. <3

There would be choir practice tmr at 2-5pm at ISH. Revise and memorise all songs for founder's day and strings concert. All details should be in tmr. We will be singing Te Quiero for strings concert. Heyyyy choirrrrr!!
We'll be having combined practice with MGS tomorrow again but this time they'll be coming here.:)) We'll have to be gentle, caring, pleasant hosts to them kay? And if they need to use the toilets please give directions to them. :D Be at the ish @3.15 sharp and we'll start a quickie stretch and warmup before MGS comes. :) Listen to the person who is leading.
Also, a reminder that you will be auditioned to sing for the Sunday's concert. And its held tomorrow from 6-6.30 (tell your mommy and daddy to pick you up at 6.30++). This is just for tomorrow's practice!! We'll have to ask the conductors for those who are sick if they are still allowed to sing for the concert (but most probably you'll not be allowed) :(((. But don't strain your voice! Take care :) Those who don't pass the audition will not be allowed to sing for the concert.
Please revise your songs tonight despite how many tests you're gonna have tomorrow (like me :CCCC) and ALL SCORES (dynamics in) are to be completely memorised tomorrow, got it? :D okay that's all! See you tomorrow. :)

This is my very first post on the choir blog! :D Yay! :)

This post is regarding our combined practice with MGS tomorrow. :D

Are y'all excited? :D BTW, its a Saturday (16/7) tomorrow.

Gather at the canteen @ 8am tomorrow (alto's will already be at the canteen's piano having sectionals at 7am :) ).

Do not be late. If not, you might miss the bus and you'll not get to go to MGS with us.

Be in your proper school attire which means school uniform (pinafore at knee length), school socks. And pin your fringe!

Whoever who still owes Samantha consent forms, hand it up tomorrow! :(
Whoever who want tickets, please try to confirm by tomorrow and also bring the money too! Its $15 a ticket. :)
Memorise your songs including the dynamics. But you'll have to still bring your scores for reference whenever the conductor needs it.

Be at your best and your most enthusiastic behavior tomorrow. Smile and be friendly. :B (DON'T LOOK DEAD WHILE YOU'RE SINGING!!) :D
Take every minute spent there seriously but you can have fun when its the right time. :D

Okay. Hi choir. It's common test week so yup, one post to keep you guys going. (: all the best.

During this period of time where there's common tests and you other activities going on, at times you may feel that you just want to give up and ignore the existence of everything. But please press on, because all these would pay off.
Go confidently in the direction of your dreams live the life you have imagined.
Also, failures are milestones to successes. So, if in the previous term you dint do very well, this time, you would have to believe in yourself and meet your own expectations. :D do not let anything affect how you will be doing and nothing is impossible. You have to trust yourself. (: last but not the least, all the best and your seniors are always behind you. (:

afew things to take note,

1. PT tomorrow, the venue will be stated on the choir board by 1.25pm. so please check it:) and yes, there is PT. 2.45pm as usual, bring your PE attire.

2. All those people who owe me letters/mcs (yes, IM WATCHING YOU) haha. please bring it!

3. i strongly strongly strongly suggest that you guys go and listen to the youtube recordings of Las Amarillas, the good ones of course, to get the rhythm, because i think it is much easier that way and it will really speed up your learning, however, if you like to count (which is very good) then try to figure out your parts okay?! :) at least try to learn the first page up proper. :)

4. EXCOs, tomorrow, there will be an Exco meeting, so i am telling you in advance now. :)

5. DRINK WATER! oh and if you already read this, you dont have to check facebook cause its just going to be the exact same thing.

Okay, so i heard the great news that:

There is no school tmrw due to the

FANTABULOUS results from the prev batch of Sec 4/5s.

However,

for us, choir girls,

it'll only be a half day break.

The answer to the question in the picture above is YES.

There is choir tmrw at the usual time.

But, before you moan and curse,

CHOIR PRACTISE WILL BE HELD AT THE NEW ROOM AT THE ISH (!!!)

ISH - Indoor Sports Hall @ Music Room which is so called Choir Room :)

So, you have every reason to come tomorrow.

Choir starts @3PM and ends @5PM.

Please assemble at the choir board at 2.45PM sharp.

Next,

Regarding the CCA Fair.

Our target for signups was 80 and above.

Although we did not reach our target, we did manage to gain about more than 50 signups!

Which was just as good. ;D

The actual debrief for CCA Fair will be done tmrw by Gab.

I hope those that came for the christmas party enjoyed it :)

So a few updates,

1. Everyone, please drink lots of water, theres a bug going around and CCA fair is coming up! :) Conserve and protect your voice!

2. CCA FAIR IS COMING. please revise your thankyouforthemusic scores!

3. Choir is as usual on tuesdays and thursdays for next year :)

4. If anyone took back the wrong pinafore during the christmas party, please let me know, because I found one that is probably either size 38/40 altered one fold. And its not mine :o haha. so it would be VERY nice, if you guys could go and check carefully if you took the wrong one back.

5. For everyone who have not been going for the recent few holiday pieces, you are missing out on ALOT. Thus, please get the set piece "the wind" score ASAP. and write all the solfege and learn it up. Catch up kay?!:)

the only restriction is, no slippers or sandals okay? so as long as its shoes its fine.

ankle socks are fine too, cause wearing school socks will be weird. haha :)

This year we have planned a fantabulous

CHRISTMAS PARTY

for you guys!

Date: 28th December 2010

Time: After choir practise, from ~~2pm~~ 3pm to 8PM (Feel free to leave early)

Venue: Rooftop Garden @ Marina Barrage

Attire: (Change after practise) Clothes that you can get wet in, Casual, Not too revealing. (Bring a change of clothes if you need) :)

Activities: Treasure Hunt (Depending on no. of RSVPs), Water games, Bonding Games, Early Dinner, Gift exchange

TAKE NOTE:

-*If you need a letter fr your parents, please email Germaine @hamsterlove_queen@hotmail.com with your name and class.

-It is a PICNIC dinner. So, if you are coming you are required to bring food which must cater to about 20 pax. (Drinks and utensils provided)

-Transport not provided. So after choir practise, you must make your way to Marina Barrage on your own and assemble at the entrance at 2PM sharp.

-Lunch on own. Its' a dinner party, so after choir havesome lunch and meet at 2PM at Marina Barrage.

First of all, even though we are done with the CANO! concert, there's still the Youth Concert.

The Youth Concert will cater to a much much MUCH MUCH bigger audience than yesterday's concert.

Here are the details for tmrw's concert:

Time to assemble: 3PM sharp

Time to leave school: 3.30PM (transport provided)

We end at : 10PM (transport provided back to school)

So there will be 2-way transport provided.

The songs we'll be singing is:
*the 2 jap songs
*Laudate Dominum (subjected to change, depending on our rehearsals)
Meaning, you should revise all the rest of the scores just in case we decide to sing another song.

Dinner will be provided.

If you are not performing, you are required to provide and MC/ Parent's Letter (only if you are unwell)/ Parent's Letter (if you have another event more impt than this) latest by next Tuesday.

Attire (for rehearsals) : School shirt over pinafore OR School Uniform (School Socks)

Attire (for performance): Make up with Gown.

*PLEASE IRON YOUR GOWNS.

There will be quality check as usual.

Just a quick post now, cause I'm at the airport. haha.

I hope all of you enjoyed yourself last night! I think we did a good job :D We have all worked so hard for the concert so I really hope it was very rewarding to finally get to go up there and perform. And THANKYOU EVERYONE for all your effort and thanks for trying your best to make it for every single one of those sectionals that we had :D We really did very well because of the sectionals, so thank your SLs for organising them :D ahaha Whooooooooooooo SLs! :D

BUT WAIT,
its not over yet IS IT?? haahaha remember in 2 days time, you have another concert. which means?? you cant spoil your voice by eating junk food yet choir! hahaha do your best for the concert!

Concert Debut is tommorow!

To my lovely PLOVs (L).

A few things to take note:
1) For pictures + an exclusive snippet of Let's Begin Again click here
2) All gowns to be ironed.
3) Bring only your scores, make up, shoes, gown, dinner money and phone.

*There will be QC (Quality Check - Miss Tan style) for gowns, hair, shoes, make up. You will not be allowed to perform with crumpled gowns.

4) There will be auditions tmrw at YMS (by Mr Tay).

5) There will also be Physical Training tmrw @ 1.05PM sharp at the choir board. Report at 1PM to put your things in the room (will be known tmrw)

*Since there will be PT tmrw, I encourage you guys to bring:

-Your face towel or a small towel to clean yourselves up after PT. (You would not want to stink up your gowns)

6) After PT, we'll have practises and Miss Choy will come slightly after to hear us one last time before heading to YMS.

7) There will be transport back and forth the concert venue.

8) If you still want to buy tickets, your parents/friends can still buy it at the venue itself but not guranteed a ticket. First come first serve. :)

9) Make sure you internalise every score into your heads by tonight.(dynamics, etc) . If you do not make it for the auditions, you'll be the backstage helpers. And we really do not want that to happen.

10) Attire for PT : P.E. Uniform and for those who does not have theirs (like washing wtv),
you may wear your house T-shirts.

Attire for YMS rehearsal: Preferably school uniform. Seniors are allowed to wear choir shirt.
(Choir shirt part not confirmed, please check choir FB page)

Attire for Concert: Obviously your gold gown & pumps.

Thats about it (i think), should there be any more things i miss out, I'll update the choir FB page by 10PM tonight. If you dont get to read it by then, check with fellow chorists. Teamwork & Responsibility (right?).

Okay so I'm posting this prior to our combined rehearsals tmrw.

Do take note of certain things.

Er,

I've been told that we looook so 'dead' when we sing.

So, the following picture might probably help some of you in your singing.

&I promise it will help.

Like every senior has told us before,

we're going to remind you again.

OPEN YOUR MOUTHS AND YOUR EYES, LIFT YOUR CHEEKS AND LIFT EVERYTHING,

USE YOUR ABS, YOUR BUTT MUSCLES..ETC

You should've known all these by now since we nag a lot, some of you claim. :)

Next.

When you find out that you do not know what a particular musical term means.
By all means, find it out when you go home or when you are on the net.

You are responsible for the progress you are making in choir.

So, if you dont put an effort into such small little things like finding out meanings that you do not understand... You'll know what you'll get into soon enough.

Case scenario of the day:

During sectionals after our one and only practise with Mr Tay this week,

Sop 1s were going through our performance scores. And they asked me,

"What does a tempo mean?"

# - Never ask this, because you should have found this out on your own when you are revising your score at home. Its likea homework so if you did not know what it means it only proves that you did not revise, or even if you did, you did not take note of the little words that read , in this case, a tempo.

So, i tasked them to find out the meaning and post in on our FB page (which some of you are still clueless about- please check the Links section)

Anyway, here's a note to self for you guys:

#1- Always sing with the right techniques even though we are singing in Piano and other dynamics. (e.g. Laudate Bar 16 upbeat, Altos especially) ALWAYS SING WITH THE RIGHT TECHNIQUES! (unless told otherwise)

#2 - Find out parts on your own first , likewise for musical terms, and if you are really really super duper unknown to your score and music, ask your seniors/conductor.

2) All scores to be memorised (Text, dynamics, style etc included)

3) We will end at 12.30 PM and yes,

1. Tickets will no longer be given, as now admission will be FREE.
2. Its not too late to get tickets for the YMS concert(2nd Dec).

Once again, heres a reminder of ATTIRE.
We will be VERY strict in this department. So, come to school properly attired, with everything that I've mentioned in the previous post ;D

I hope everyone is looking forward to our combined practice on monday:D
BUT.
As you all know, we need more practice.

So some of your awesome sectional leaders have decided to schedule in just ONE more sectional practice before the combine rehearsal itself! ;D

For Altos&Mezzos,
you will have sectionals from 8am-11am.
then a 2 hour lunch break.
For SOPS,

you will have to report for sectionals at 8:30am.

and be back in school by 1pm! For the pre-combine warm-up/practice :D

Also some reminders/announcements for y'll to take note of:

1. TICKET SALES FOR YMS!

Please, all orders& money to be in to GERMAINE by monday.

Heres an important and quick announcement! :D

Tomorrow, Choir is from 8am-12.30!

So, from 12.30pm-2.00pm will be your lunch,
and there will be sectionals for ALL sections tomorrow, from 2pm-4.30pm.

I know quite afew sections have had sectionals on wednesday, but i think that it would be good if after ms choy comes in tomorrow, we have our own sectionals to see how much we've progressed through these few days.

@The Chronicler: Sorry, I'll reply thru this post since the tagboard would nt allow long replies as this would be reasonably long. Bear with me :) Basically, every choir is required to sing 3 songs for SYF. One is the set piece, in this case is "The wind", and the second and third piece would have follow the criteria given. For example, the second piece must be a piece that has been composed by a local composer, hence we're singing Laudate Dominum by Mr Tay. The third piece is not Cantate Dominum. Cantate was conducted by our prev conductor, Miss Paul.

So,

The Wind IS the set piece. The other two is chosen by Mr Tay (one of which is Laudate, the other we have not learnt yet.

For the ticket sales, we will let you know as soon as we find out. Thanks for bringing it up. :)

Good question.

So we have decided to create a facebook groups just for updates and queries (since some of you are not keen on using the tagboard).

But it is for seniors who have been in choir before us. It is like a 'PLOV Alumni'. So do not be confused.

4. When I'm sixty-four- to be learnt and done BY TUESDAY. One day to get it done! :D

5. Yuki Ga Tokeru & Yoru No Sakana - sing through once, if you have the time, if not, focus on the rest first, we can revise this another time ;D

And sectional leaders please take note, although its sectionals only, it would be good if you could do vocal warm-ups (hosanna?) and maybe abit of stretches first ;D

And everyone, PLEASE sing with the right technique! Being lazy wont help you get anywhere!! And singing is not just about getting the notes! Its about the way you sing it and the technique that you put into it too! :D it'll really make a difference!

so make the best of your BEAUTIFUL, LOVELY, MELODIC voices! :D

Learn it and apply it. :) This is a way to show your commitment to Choir and it also shows if you are interested in improving in the way you sing.

Everybody makes mistakes, be not afraid to learn and find out on your own the faults and what you should do to improve.

So check that website out whenever you have the time. Make it a habit to take down notes and bring it to Choir practices and share it with seniors or friends. Learn from each other. :)

1.CONSENT FORMS.

Don't think we don't collate them okay, cause, WE DO. AND WE KNOW WHO DID NOT HAND UP.haha.SO! if you lost it, please photocopy one! Also, remember to indicate if you are going/not going for the concert, cause some of your forms are blank D;

For the EZ concert consent forms, LATEST deadline is.. TOMORROW.

AND i know some of you have NOT handed in your HOLIDAY PRACTICE consent forms.Remember to hand it up ASAP. cause it is WAYY overdue D:

2. PHYSICAL TRAINING

Heres a friendly reminder about PT tomorrow :D , 2.45pm, same time, same place(choir board). Bring your PE attire and do NOT be late!

What exactly is a choir?!

PLEASE READ & REFLECT UPON THIS

I was bored.

I wanted to do something during my free time on the net.

So I randomly and obviously did not think before i type,

I google-d the definition of choir,

as seen in the picture below.

I clicked on the 'Google Search' button

and it brought me to a website called

http://www.yourdictionary.com/

which displayed the meaning of choir.

It said:

A group of singers organized and trained to sing together

and so on and so forth.

I only read the first meaning. And the word 'together' hit me.

My point?

I just felt the choir, these days, needed to have sense of teamwork. We need to encourage each other, give each other tips on how to improve, help each other to be better than she already is. That's a team and a team shows togetherness. A choir, to me, is a team. And whats' a team without teamwork/togetherness? Reason why I am suddenly posting this is because I just felt that the level of unity and team togetherness is gradually decreasing. Let's buck each other up and aim for AMAZING results for whatever we go through together, be it a simple performance of a song or SYF performances etc. Lets, as a choir, do our part, to increase our abilities and show the right attitude with a regular and consistent attendance for choir. ALL FOR CHOIR~! I just felt the need to emphasize this. :)

Hey ladies :)

There is an important announcement I'd like to make:

THERE IS NO PHYSICAL TRAINING (PT) TMR.

Yes, you've heard me right. There would not be any PT tmrw as there is a lot preparations we need to do before the new conductor comes. Therefore, here's a few things to note :

1. Choir starts at 3PM as usual.

2. Check the venue for tmrw's choir practice on the choir board before going to choir.

3. NO LATECOMERS (It is an important practice)

4. All scores and stationery to be brought as usual.

*If you have the scores from 2008 or 2009 like Gloria, Agnus Dei, Yoru No Sakana, Ngana etc... PLEASE BRING IT (Esp Sec 3s)

5. (For those who did not bring ->) Choir Fund of $3, punishments, forms etc. PLEASE BRING IT.

6. Bring your choir notebook.

That should be all, for now. Please check again a little later should there be any extra announcements I missed out.

Hey choir!

How was today's NDP rehearsal?
I heard it was okay, however, I also heard many of you did not turn up :(
NDP rehearsal is just as important as normal choir rehearsals, and I really hope all those people who did not go today have a valid reason. ;D Sorry I wasn't able to be there with you today D: i had Media Studies lessons.

Anyway, for ALL those people who did not go today, whichever the reason, you are to meet at the choir board tomorrow, 5th August 2010, at 4pm and go together to find the teacher-in-charge(of the NDP rehearsals) and tell her your VALID reason. It is a MUST to go. I'll be there as well so yes, 4pm @ choir board :D thanks!

There is NO choir tomorrow, HOWEVER,
remember that there is PT tomorrow! 2.45pm as usual. If you cannot make it for PT, do inform your SLs, so that they can take attendance :D
Also, a note to all the level heads, due date for your level's relay system is TOMORROW.

oh and be sure to MEMORIZE all your NDP scores! Cause performance is this FRIDAY! :D

Greeeeeaaaatttt jobbb! today for NDP rehearsal :D now all ya'll have to do is get the movement right! ahhaha. (the swaying) RIGHT.LEFT.RIGHT.LEFT. :D hahaha.

Remember that though you have to sing LOUD, don't SHOUT :D always use your diaphragm :D Don't spoil your voice :D Drink lots and lots and lots of WATER :D

Oh and the post below, is VERY important! Listen to the Cantate Domino, and maybe get some points from it, take the good things in, and work up towards OWNING the song and singing the song because you LOVEEE it :D

We definitely will improve if everyone puts in your best effort and works hard for every single practice session ;D Bit by bit we will get to that "world class" standard! :D Just wait and see :D

Compared to them, we have so MUCH more we have to polish up. But we can do this, yeah? PLOV rocks. Take some notes, pen it down in your choir notebooks. (Dont forget to bring the notebooks on tuesday) Apply it to practice and show Miss Paul how much we've improved since the last time we've met her.

Take note of the:

Decrescendos, Crescendos, Distinct Staccato notes, Pronunciation and of course, OPENED MOUTHS. The more you take note of these points the more amazing this piece will sound. Let's aim to do weel for SYF next year. GOLD GOLD GOLD (w/honors!)

St Andrew's Cathedral Rehearsal & Performance

This post is just concerning the girls who are performing for the St Andrew's Cathedral Event.

Here are the details of the two dates:

For the rehearsal:

Venue: St Andrew's Cathedral

Date: 24th July 2009

Time: From 2 to 5 PM

For the Performance Day:

Venue: St Andrew's Cathedral

Date: 25th July 2009

Time: From 7.30 to 10 AM (Please come on time)

Regarding TRANSPORTATION,

Please take note that NO TRANSPORT WILL BE PROVIDED, very sadly.

However, if you are wondering how to get there, here is some information which could be quite valuable in helping you get there.

If your parents are fetching you, here's the address of the location, very simply,

If you are coming on your own, here's a few tips on how to get there:

By Bus: 61, 124, 145, 166, 174, 197, 174M, 174E,
NR1, NR2, NR5, NR6, NR7, NR8, 648.
32, 51, 63, 80, 195, 851, 961, Heritage H9, City Buzz C1.

By MRT/Circle Line etc, I am not too sure, but I asked around and some said to take the route to City Hall and once you exit from that station you'll see the Cathedral.

If you are pretty insecure about your sense of direction, you can always approach the helpdesk at the station itself. :)

Regarding ATTIRE,

Please be informed to wear your full school uniform on both events. No GOWNS. This instructions was given to Mr Ng by Miss Paul. School rules apply to the attire:

-NO SHORT SKIRTS

-DO NOT FOLD YOUR SOCKS

-NAME TAGS AND SCHOOL BADGE MUST BE THERE! (Be proud to be a PL Lite, YOU ARE REPRESENTING PL! :) )

-HAIR TIED UP NEATLY

-NO COLOURED HAIR TIES OR HAIR BENDS

-CUT YOUR NAILS.

-and all the other rules I may have left out.

Regarding MEETING PLACE AND TIME,

Please assemble at the WELCOME CENTRE AT THE CATHEDRAL 10 MINUTES BEFORE THE REHEARSAL AND THE PERFORMANCE.

Gabrielle, Germaine and Gloria would be there to take your attendance.

Rehearsal, meet at 1.50 PM sharp.

Performance, 7.15 AM (meet 15 minutes before) SHARP.

* Do not be late, normal choir rules apply to latecoming issues.

Need to leave early/ Cannot make it?

Simply present your parents letter and pass it to any of your SLs or EXCO Members.

Hello Choir! :D

This is my first time posting on this blog! and I'm so EXCITED! :D hahaha. this is very exciting :D

So just a few updates/reminders:

1. For all those who have NOT handed in your forms for the Sec4 farewell, be sure to hand it in latest by this THURSDAY! And for those who are going to St Andrew's Cathedral, remember to hand in your forms as well! This THURSDAY!

2. Remember there is PT (phyical training) this THURSDAY!
Its a MUST to bring your PE shirt and wear SCHOOL shorts. NO FBTS.

One more thing, IF you CANNOT make it for PT, with a valid reason of course, EG: remedial/CIP. Inform your Sectional Leader in ADVANCE, so that she will able to take attendance accordingly. Absence from PT without a valid reason IS a disciplinary case.

PT is at 2.45pm sharp, meeting place is the choir board.

3. Bring your choir file! AND scores! And if you happen to lose the score, please have the initiative to photocopy it on your own, cause we can't keep photocopying scores for you guys everytime you don't have it, okay? :D So this time, NO EXCUSES if you don't have the score, UNLESS, you didn't receive it the first time its given out.

4. NO CHOIR THIS TUESDAY DUE TO O LEVEL LISTENING COMPRE :(

Greetings! So let me start my (last?) post to all of you:

1) Thank you to all the seniors who came down to support us for heARTbeat on 17 April and for being our constant pillars of strength! :) We really appreciate it!

2) To all the choir members:

Great job for heARTbeat! Thank you for putting in your best and working so hard for the past few months just for that few moments on stage. Firstly, I wanna say great job to the secondary ones for your first performance that also marks the official start of your journey in Choir. Secondly, to Michelle for singing solo on stage! It's not an easy feat so her courage is already enough to suffice our applaud for her right! To the rest of you, thank you for stretching your potential and bringing your best with you up on stage :) I'm very proud of every single one of you.

3) On behalf of the secondary fours, we want to thank all of you for being awesome juniors, cca mates and friends, and for making our last performance a memorable one just by being part of this journey that we have all walked together. We will always remember with fondness the memories and beautiful moments we have with the PL Choir.

4) Secondary 4s have officially stepped down as of 16 April. We will be going back for some practices just to settle administrative stuff though, so don't be too sad! (Or happy haha)

Remember. A choir is only as strong as it's weakest singer. Continue to sing for the glory of God, relish in every songs' meaning and just do your best! (L)

Hey sec4s!,

Thank you for coming to the farewell today... It was really difficult to part from you guys and so hard to really accept that you're leaving and everything's in our hands now. But we would like to thank you for REALLY being more than a senior- a friend, encouraging us to move on, to head for our goals. Well, as you leave we wanna say you have impacted us a great deal and just like they say, 'you can take a girl out of PL, but you can never take PL out of her', we know you'll remember us and we will always keep you in our hearts! :) Don't worry, the new EXCO will take all challenges with a positive mindset, knowing everything is done to bring God the glory :)

Meanwhile, we will pray for you as you take your O levels! :)

There is a SOP rehearsal next wednesday 29/5 from 3.30pm-6.30pm.

SOP on Thursday would be from 4.30-11pm. I'll confirm with you the details next practice.
